Buying a Chrysler 300
 

Okay I’ll ask this a different way, I am thinking about buying a 2012 Chrysler 300 it has around 45,000 miles it’s been driven by 80’s year old couple, that I had to relocate over 1,000 miles because they had to be put in a nursing home, I have to buy a different car as our car is on it’s last legs, the engine seems like it runs good & the transmission, the suspension & brakes seem okay but I know with the roads around here & hills to work out the brakes if you were going to buy it, would you see what the Chrysler garage would buy it for & have it checked out by a couple garages that do suspension work & see what they think of the suspension or just take off from the price for doing the suspension & brakes!
I want to be fair but not get screwed!

So here's my take on it Crazy. After 7 years and 45,000 miles, these vehicles aren't particularly unreliable or unreliable. But what they are is expensive to get repaired. So if you're particularly sensitive to repair costs you might what to spring for a Honda.
My Chrysler falls into the exact same category as the vehicle you are looking at. The thing is, I just love the car and I have an extended warranty that lasts for another 8 months so I'll be keeping it a while longer and I may even extend the warranty if it is not too costly. For sure I'll have another God willing.

So what is expensive to repair on these vehicles? I know the suspension is going to be pricey, it had the alternator service bulletin done in 2015, but after the car has been sitting running for a few minutes it kinda smells like an electrical smell!?
I have been thinking about Honda & other brands , kinda wonder about some of the Honda’s also because I was reading about problems with Honda’s & some years of them they have problems with accelerating on their own, plus the mileage on them are going to be higher, than this one?
