Default Code p2096

Hello forumites:
I have a 2005 Chrysler 300c 5.7ltr hemi, RWD and a code number p2096 has popped up.
The car runs very smooth, so I do not have a clogged fuel filter, the gas pump has good pressure and I just changed o2 sensor and the code popped up again.
It's not the catalytic convertor, because that would be a different code all together.
I have talked to my mechanic and he thinks there is an air leak in one of the vacuum hoses.
I installed a cold air intake years ago and that is not the problem.
Has anyone had this problem with the vacuum leak and what was the solution?.
Has anyone have a diagram to show where these vacuum hoses are located?.
Thanks

What I am looking for is a vacuum hose diagram so I locate the leak.

It is not what you suggest. I had a diagnostic done,. talked to mechanic yesterday it's a vacuum leak.

All I wanted was a location for vacuum hoses.
Thanks

its not what I suggest? did you look at the pdf that has the factory meaning on the code at hand? The factory data that why it pulls that code?

Go ask your mechanic to look up that code and what it means then go ask him or her what vac line is attached to the intake that is only for bank one that will only cause bank one to be lean and only bank one of the engine to put the fuel trim where its at. Let me know his results.

Here is the full pdf for the code hand this to you mechanic.

I doubt it is the catalytic converter. The code for that would be p0420 and that did not come up. What came up was code p2096, which shows it could be a possibility of 5 things. 1-Replacing/Repairing vacuum hoses, which we are going to looking at. Could be a cracked hose, because heat hardens the rubber.
2-Replace catalytic convertor, which we don't have to do.
3-Replace Fuel filter, fuel pump, and fuel pressure regulator, which we don't have to do because the car is not missing, sputtering or stalling, it runs normal.
4-Replace oxygen sensor, which we did and that is not the problem because code p2096 came up after that change.
5-Replace spark plugs, no need to do that, because there has no miss, motor runs smooth.
Is this pdf you are talking about?. Like I said before I had an diagnostic done on the car and a road test. Vacuum hose seems to the problem.
I did check the code meanings.

Problem located:
Well, Mr. Super Moderator, it's nothing that you came up with,
besides I have a list of all the codes for this vehicle.
Took car to shop yesterday, mechanic checked for vacuum leak by applying air pressure to the vacuum system.
It turns out it is the manifold casket on Bank 1, that's the drivers side of the motor, it has failed. He should me the compression smoke coming from that side.
Manifold caskets will be replaced on both sides. Work is being done today.
Thanks

You might thank the man for taking the time and effort trying to help you. You would be astonished how many issues on the forum go without any answer at all.
