Default GSMotorsport ESP/Torque management mod

Does this mod really do what it advertises? I bought a 06 300C SRT8 and am kinda dissapointed in how slow this shifts. Great torque, lots of power, but the shifts just blow. Even with esp off and shifting it just isn't tight. I'm mostly interested in this mod tightening the shifts. If this car had a good shift I could see it easily knocking 2-3/10s off the 1/4 mile. BTW...check out the recent issue of MotorTrend. They race the Charger SRT8 against a lotus, vette, and GT500 at some track in the midwest and even comment how its the only auto 4 door in the class. It came in last, but they said the auto was awful...

this mod is for the 300C not the SRT8 and it has nothing to do with shifting, it is designed to remove the ESP so you can do burn outs, where the SRT8 has the feature build in (if you hold the traction button down for 10 seconds it disables the ESP completely, where the 5.7L motor doesn't)

your shifting problem is in the TCM (transmission control module) take the car to the dealer and tell them to flash your TCM with the lastest software.. Chrysler is aware of the problem you describe and a software flash is required to fix it.

Mr.Incredible is correct. I had mine flashed about a month ago..BIG Difference
now in the way it shifts. I re-installed my SuperChips FlashPaq..and does this
"Stock" 5.7 fly. Burns rubber when you stomp it from a dead stop, when it shifts
from 1st to 2nd-you hear that nice little "chirp", continuing through to 3rd-a nice
solid shift also, same into 4th & 5th.
These Hemi's should have come this way from the factory. Now mine runs like it's
"Got A Set"...
