RE: dash brak light coming on
WONDERING IF YOU CAN TRY SOMETHING? WHEN LIGHT IS COMING ON CAN YOU PULL THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE AND LIGHT GOES AWAY? IF SO IT IS A EASY FIX.
IF THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE LIGHT COMES ON AND PULLING E BRAKE RELEASE DOES NOTHING THEN I WOULD HAVE THE LEVEL SENSOR IN THE MASTER CYLINDER CHECKED. I HAD A 05 LX 3.5 TOURING THAT HAD INTERM. ISSUE WITH BRAKE LIGHT COMING ON, WE REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER AND RESIVOIR. XTREME |
RE: dash brak light coming on
yes when it comes on, the light goes out by pulling on the park brake

RE: dash brak light coming on
ASK DEALER TO HAVE CONTACTS ADJUSTED TO E BRAKE PEDAL. OR ASK SOME OF THESE MASTER MINDS IN HERE, THEY WILL DIRECT YOU ON HOW.
I JUST HOPE WITH THIS POST I DON'T STEP ON ANY TOES OR POST INFO THATS FOUND ELSEWHERE. SEEMS SOME ARE AGAINST THAT, BEING PERFECT THAT IS. |
RE: dash brak light coming on
If it's any consolation, every time I get into the fiance's '05 300, the "brake" light is on. I have to pull the release and pull up on the foot pedal. She says it's never on when she drives.... who knows, maybe I kick it every time I get in. Seems like a little adjustment to the pedal would make it harder to inadvertantly push far enough to set off the light.
