Diagnostic software 300C
I've got an o8 300C 5.7l hemi. I need to find Chrysler proprietary diagnostic software for it at reasonable price that will read all codes for every module and advise recommended possible cause/solution. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford mechanics. I wrench most stuff myself with good results on my older Jaguars, but i have their proprietary software. Can someone please make recommendations, the good, the bad and the ugly of the software.
Thankd

There are 2 software apps that may be of use, Appcar-diagFCA and AlphaODB. Both are able to pull codes from all of the computer modules; the cost is comparable at about $50. The licensing is one of the major differences. With appcar you license a vin and alphaodb you get an unlimited number of vehicles.
Both require an OBD link that plugs into the obd connector, about $50. I have used both and prefer appcar as I find the screens easier to navigate. Both are equally capable though. Appcar only works on a Windows PC where alphaobd is both windows and android.
As a note, I found appcar to be very responsive to my request for a feature update. I was looking for the engine oil remaining life monitor, contacted appcar and had the parameter update within 2 weeks.
As for diagnostic suggestions, post your codes or issues here or on 'allpar.com'.

I hear you on the importance of finding the right diagnostic software for your 08 300C. It's great that you're hands-on with your vehicles. I'd suggest looking into Chrysler's own diagnostic software, if available. However, considering budget constraints, you might want to explore alternative options.
One avenue you could explore is using a windows 10 pro key to access certain diagnostic software. There are reputable sources where you can obtain these keys.
Keep in mind that when choosing diagnostic software, it's essential to look for one that not only reads all codes but also provides insightful recommendations for potential causes and solutions.
