Dies after fill up plus a p0301
 

2006 5.7 Ams stock grind mds delete cam
When you put gas in it It will stall within a mile then it will run fine except it will buck and almost die again
after that smooth as glass Only code is a p0301
swapped coils , injectors, spark plugs Compression 170lbs with 8% leak down
evap canister vent solenoid works, vent line to tank clear still have to check purge valve
syked racing put a mild tune in it I think I’m going to have them take it out till I get the problem solved

btw it does have a slight lope at idle when warm

anybody had this problem? What did you find?

When you put gas, do you stop when it clicks off or do you top it off a couple of times? If you top it off, you may be pushing liquid gas into the fuel vapor recovery canister. When you start driving, the system pulls in the vapors into the intake to burn the gas vapors. If there is raw fuel in the recovery canister this will get pulled in and may cause the stall from an over rich fuel-air mixture.

Next time you ill up, do not top off the tank and see what happens.
