factory Headlights weak by design

Gentlemen

I believe that the regular factory headlights on Chrysler 300 (at least on 2013 models) is in a gross violation of safety standards.
Out on open roads country side I can not see a thing , whether low beam or high beam won't make that much of a difference.
It was a totally different headlights on my previous 300 2007, it was like day and night literally !
Anyone had that experience? solutions? recalls?

Thank you

Joe - I don't have this issue with my 2012 300c. What makes you think it's design and not a failure of some sort ?

Hello tarhealcracker and thank you for your reply.
Since purchase ( 2013 brand new) I've noticed:
1. Low beam headlights produced weak light which makes it really hard to see .
2. Turning high beam on does not add much to this already weak light.
3. Lights do not provide you with any side light (peripherals) which makes it very hard to see when turning.
4. One single weak bulb for both low and high beams.
5. Projected lights which can NOT be adjusted properly.
6. Light projection distance so short.
7. Its so weak that I don't even get a response from other drivers that my high beams are on or bright .
8. Finally, I did try to adjust low beams via the plastic screws, it did not add much, it is a single lamp.
As such, I believe it has something to do with the actual design of headlights ( yes it is beautiful nice looking design )

Now let us compare my 2013 headlights with my older 2007.
1. 2007 has 4 separate lamps/bulbs, 2 for low and amazing 2 for a powerful high beam.
2. High beam ON gives way much higher, brighter, much longer projection (distance wise)
3. In the 2007 models these lights were fully adjustable.

It will be interesting to measure how many feet this single low beam lamp illuminate. I seriously doubt the 2013 let me see 350 ft. ahead, sad .

Check out this article for an HIR2 replacement bulb that is shown to be better than stock. I put them in my 2014 200 and they are significantly better in my opinion.
