Fuel pump ticking on am radio
 

On am radio stations, even the strong ones, I get a ticking sound consistent with how hard the fuel pump is working.

Back in the day there was a capacitor fix for this issue on cars in general. Has anybody heard of a fix for this on our cars ? Could a noise canceling capacitor have failed and if so where is it.
