glasspack muffler install

Hi Forum Members;
I would like to install two glasspack mufflers on my 300c.
I have removed the suitcase and have left the resonators on.
I would like to remove the resonators and install the glasspack mufflers
The mufflers are 24 inches long with 2.5 inlet/outlet.
Some questions: Do I have to remove the resonators?. I would like to get the maximum sound from mufflers.
If I remove the resonators, where is a good place to install the mufflers on the exhaust system?.
If anyone can help with any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I love glass packs which are typically resonators in themselves. When I had my 300 SRT8 I cut off every thing and put on 2 -24 inch Wicked Flow mufflers. Oh what a sound! The main thing when installing packs or glass lined chambered mufflers is to put little or no tailpiipe behind them. Otherwise, they cackle, pop and are raspy. Get straight thru mufflers such as Cherry Bombs. Avoid the ones that have the raised protrusions inside. When I go to a muffler shop I pick out several and have the welder place them at the cut pipe and wrap a rag around them to seal them as much as possible. Then make my choice.

Glass packs are 30 bucks+/- and sound better than the big names by far IMO when set up right.
