Default Hello and help please

Hey folks first post here.

I'm ready to burn this pile of JUNK. 2017 300s.
So, my highbeam headlights. I turn them on. They flash and shut off. A few seconds later they do the same thing. Then they do not work at all. The indicator is on in the dash. I have to shut the goddamned car off, open the door and restart it. Then the lights do the same crap. Cant get them to stay on. Anyone run into this issue? Im going crazy and ready to soak this thing in gas and light it up.

Combined with 2 rear shocks clunking and rattling and needing replacement already and the transmission howling noise, as soon as it is off warranty 101,000km I'm close to actually doing it. Thanks a lot folks

I'm still new to Chrysler cars but what you describe sounds like a relay failing, look for you high beam relay and switch it out with a different one and see if it works

Let me get this straight. You have a 101k mile car with a few minor issues and you think it should be trouble free? When you find its replacement, do post that info. In the meantime I'll be happy to take your Chrysler off your hands for the price of a gallon of arson gas.
Seriously, these are minor issues. Stay the course and fix the car up. It will pay off.

I agree with the others Mike. These are very minor issues that should be covered under warranty for such a new car. Not sure if your mileage has timed you out yet. But to only have a potential bad relay and one or two bad shocks in 60K miles is pretty good in my book. I've owned a lot of cars in 30 years and all of them have been worse than what you're experiencing, Maybe you have fared different in the past, but then I would say you've been lucky.

I've just been soured by vehicles in the past. Before this car I had a Cadillac dts. Throwing tons of money at it trying to find annoying vibrations. Then the engine blew up. Before that a truck that lost the transmission on vacation. Now every little nitpicking thing drives me crazy. Anyway, new developments the transmission on the 300 is pissing trans fluid. Off to the shop again. I like the car though, I'm 6'8 and can actually fit in it. Maybe I'll just get a different one and try my luck again.
