How Is 300 Swap/Conversion?

Hello Everyone, Looking to buying a 2012 300 V6 RWD with 70,000 Miles and a Bad/Locked Up engine For $4800, trying to get Ideas On Replacing The Engine. I have done Several Swaps In the 1990-2004 Models And 2.7L To 3.5L Conversions. So I'm familiar with how those work, So I'm trying to See How Direct These newer ones are? I Would really like to drop a 5.7L in it, But, I don't know how complicated it is in this Model, I had a Conversion Manual for the other conversion, I don't know if there's one for these Model Years?

So, I'm asking If the $4800 For a 70K Miles 300 V6 is reasonable and how Feasible it is Dropping a 5.7L In it, If its not too complicated I Would do It, But If it is, I Would just replace the 3.6 V6 with a Lower Mileage V6 And I'm guessing it will/Should be a Straight Remove and Replace, Right?
I know Cost is another thing, The V8 will run Me about $2500 And a V6 Engine will Run Me about $1500.

So can I get some knowledge/guidance, Please?

Thanks Guys.

I know this is very old post. What did you do? I'm told changing to a 5.7 is quite complicated and makes more sense to just buy a different car. If someone cooked the 3.5L in only 70k miles I have to wonder what else they cooked. The 3.5L is a pretty solid engine, usually running 300k miles easily so I suspect there was some abuse involved.
