How can I tell if I have a "special" 300m or "standard"
Hi,
A couple of months ago I purchased a 2002 Chrysler 300m. I am now trying to determine the value of the vehicle for insurance purposes, and I am trying to figure out if this is the "standard" version or the "special" version. If anyone could help I would be grateful. I will list a couple of the options on the vehicle below in hopes it helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Rob VIN: 2C3AE66G62H119705 Color: navy blue link to pictures:https://goo.gl/photos/kTaX2nmhjZTtc7bYA Power driver/passenger seats Heat seats Moon roof overhead console Stterring wheel: wood and leather Dual tail pipe exhaust leather seats |
special has the wood grain wheel like you have and also the autostick on the sifter
|
Also, if I recall correctly, the trunk badge said "special" under the 300m logo. The car was one of the most under appreciated cars out there and "special" in a number of ways. That V6 was sumpen else it was.

That "was" a 2002 Base 300M with the "Luxury Group" option and the optional 5 Chrome wheels.
Sorry for your loss, hope you are OK. "Special" edition 300M would have Carbon Fiber trim, Dual Exhaust, Bumper and Body cladding,"water fall" seats, and all body logos along with engine tag with the word "Special" on them. (nad more) Also the engine code in the VIN would be K rather then G |
Indywar,
You may be a bit happier over in the 300m forum (other Chrysler vehicles}. We are glad to have you here as this is a fairly uneventful place, but not many of us have first hand experience on m series cars. |
