If a brake hose snaps will I loose all braking power

Default If a brake hose snaps will I loose all braking power
One of my rear brake hoses is bruised and I'm waiting form oem parts delivery from USA , since I'm in Europe.
My question is if that brake hose snaps do I loose all braking? Is it a split system? And if it snaps will all the brake fluid leak out from the master brake cylinder or is it partitioned in two independent lines?
