Low oil pressure light and chime!

Hi... this is my first post. I have a 2005base 300. About two weeks ago my low pressure oil light(the onethat looks like a genie lamp with a drip at the end)came onand chimedwhile I was driving. I checked the oil and it seemed ok. It didn't turn on in the following days, but for some reason my dash would chime without any lights comming on. I was due for an oil change, sotoday I took it to a local Jiffy Lube to change the oil and see if they could find any problems. They did the change and found only a minorpan gasket leakwhich theytold meshouldn't cause the pressure to be low.On my way home, the light came onwith theirritatingchimeagain while I was driving.I noticed it to come on whileI accelerated, anddisappeared when Iwas at a complete stop.I'm planning to take it to a Chrysler service center tomorrow to see if they can find something.

Hope someone can help withthis problem! Thanks!

RE: Low oil pressure light and chime!

Well... I found out it was a faulty oil pressure sending unit. Went to a local dealership and they did a diagnostics and I ended up spending close to $300. So if anyone has this same issue, it could just be the faulty unit!
