Oil in vacuum lines? '05 300-2.7 Base
I am by no means a mechanic but I have never seen/heard of this issue before. It appears that I have a significant oil leak. While I'm trying to figure out where it's leaking from I think it is somehow leaking out of vacuum lines? There is one line that connects to the air filter housing that clearly has an oil type substance all around it. I disconnected that hose and it's inside there as well. Additionally, another hose connection at the rear of the engine is experiencing the same thing. I took a few photos to show the areas in an effort to pinpoint where I'm referring to. (Sorry, I guess I cannot attach photos). Has anyone had this issue? What was the diagnosis? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. The engine seems to be running well though? Thanks. Jason

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you may have a faulty PCV valve. Here is an article that explains it more. Very cheap and easy to replace.
