Popping Noise (left rear maybe)

Hello All. I have a 2019 300S (24k miles). When I switch my car from drive to reverse, when I back into my yard,
right after I shift to reverse and hit the gas, I hear this popping or clanking noise on the left side.

I am not sure if it is coming from the front or the rear, but I believe it is the latter. It kinda sounds like metal to metal.
To me, it sounds like it has something to do with the brakes or suspension, but I really do not know for sure.

This is something that started happening maybe within the last year. I have not always heard this sound and when
I took it to the dealer, they said everything was fine and working normal. I disagree though, because this has not always been an issue.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be and/or if it is normal? I would love to hear your feedback.

Thank you,
Easy

Try easing to a stop without using the breaks. Then shift into reverse, no brakes still, give her a little gas and see if the sound appears.

I have the same issue with a 'metallic popping noise' whenever I back into my driveway, except mine sounds like the right rear. I am concerned it is coming from a CV joint.

No, @tarhealcracker , none to speak of. I am just going to go on and try deal with the noise.
