Default Rear sun shade 300c

I am in Australia. My 300c sedan rear sun shade will not work correctly. Goes half way up, goes down slowly, makes a lot of noise like a gear not meshing. Noise runs on for a few minutes when shade is down. Can anybody assist me please. Looks like a big job and could be hard to get to.
Thanks.
Bruce.

<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Cheap designs will not show themselves from the best side, as you can see from your experience. Such visors are poorly fixed in the car, constantly fly off, distort the real image, etc.

<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->When choosing an anti-glare visor for a car, you should pay attention to its cost and manufacturer. A wide variety of screens are available on the market, but only a few are considered the most effective and useful for motorists. If you are offered screens with light filters at too low a price, it is recommended to refuse such a purchase. Cheap designs will not show themselves from the best side, as you can see from your experience. Such visors are poorly fixed in the car, constantly fly off, distort the real image, etc. From my experience, I recommend Snap Shades.

An older thread - has the issue been repaired? Wishing my car had been maxed out with the Premium Group 2 (contains the sun shade in question) and the Safe T Tech Plus group. My 5.7L car is well equipped otherwise and a SRT clone due to the Alloy Group Package and the 'S' Appearance package.

Shortly after receiving its monthly cleanup.

As I understand it, the Sun Shade is omitted with certain upgraded radios - having to do with bass speakers.
