Scottish Hi

A quick Hi from Ayrshire Scotland,
I am soon to pick upa new company car and have been given a 300c Hemi, a model that is now getting itself dropped from the UK line up. The car is an 06 with 900 miles only in black. I was leant a diesel touring for a week and simple language?? WOW what a car! The Hemi is an incredible car and totally intimidates the population in the UK. I can't wait till she is ready and if I can persuade my company to fit the Bentley grille before I collect it all the better then its just a set of clear side markers, chrome door pillar covers and I'm all set :D

But, before any of you were to ask, and incase you are interested we still get the 3.5 V6 petrol, but only to special order, the 3.0 CRD is by far the top selling car and the SRT8 all of them in saloon or touring form.

Welcome Derek from our LXs in the Ohior River hills of West Virginia, USA. There are many here waiting patiently for the day the CRD becomes a possibility over here. Enjoy the Hemi and drive safely!

RE: Scottish Hi

Thanks for the welcome, the CRD is indeed very popular in the UK and Europe too as on the motorway / freeway it averages around 40mpg touring in town the touring CRD loaner I had still managed 30mpg easily plus it has a very lazy muscle car sound to it not in any way like a Liberty CRD if ever you heard that (think metal cookie tin with lots of nuts and bolts being shaken to death!)
The performance of the CRD 300C is highly impressive for any situation so I feel sure you guys will approve and enjoy it, plus it has the same twin exhaust the Hemi has in the UK so if you de-badge it no one ever knows.
