Where are the spark plugs on a 2000 300m? I usually change my own but I don't know where to start on this one.

RE: Spark Plugs

i see the spark plugs on the engine top. i have bought my 6 platinum +4 spark plugs. i was wondering if special skills and tools are needed to replace the spark plugs. do we just remove the old ones and then replace them with the new ones and it will work?

please provide me with a detail step by step instruction. thank you.
for example, after i take out the old one...... when inserting the new one, do i have to lubricate the threads and so on before inserting?

thanks

RE: Spark Plugs

what u want to do is take them back and get champion platinum plugs. IF u want to same your self some trouble down the road just get the factory style plugs. Thge step by step remove the coil on plugs ues a spark plug socket take the old one out gap the new plug to what it says on the little while lable under the hood that says spark plug gap. Do not throw the new one down there u will crack or bend the prong, insert it back into the spark plug socket and slide it down the tube and screw it in. repalce the coil pn plug and tighten and install the connector. repeat for the rest of the 5.
