Sreange Display Screen Problem

On my 2012 300 the 8.4 display screen is having a strange problem... Sometimes when you use the touch screen to select an item on the screen such as the "Where To" on the Nav screen it takes forever to go to the selected item. When you touch the screen the item you are trying to select does turn blue indicating that it is selected, but it takes forever to open the item, sometimes it never seems to open. This happens on all the different screens such as "Radio", etc. If you keep pecking at it it usually gets there. It is like the computer is running is slow motion. When it is in this condition you can use the Voice Response and it responds normally with no delay.

At other times everything works perfectly with no issues at all.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
CharlieC
