Srt design CRD tick
 

Hi everyone,

My 2008 SRT design has done this since I bought it, approx 20,000 miles ago, and still does it to this day.

Windows up, heater blowers off, radio off - total silence in the car. Cruising at anything from 35mph, touch the throttle and a ticking noise from the engine is heard. Release the throttle and the ticking stops.

I only ever run it on super diesel, I have had all 6 injectors pulled, cleaned and tested. It seems to be worse (louder in the winter) although it might be my hearing lol. It is definatly throttle related and only does it when under load whilst accelerating, it won't do it hen stationary and just revving in park.

From what research I have done it seems to be just the SRT crd's that do this!??
