Default Suspension Lowering

2006 300C Heritage: I've been looking at some suspension lowering kits - springs and the coil over struts (big bucks). I want to improve handling: Cornering and reduce nose-dive.But I don't want it ride like a rock either.

Has any of you driving enthusiest done this or had it done? How much did you drop? Using what? Did it mess up your alignment geometry? Does it adjust out with the current factory parts? What does it drive like now?

I've been looking at the Eibach Coilover System (like $1300). This kit drops 1.6"-2.8" front / 1.2"-2.0" rear. That's pretty extreem. I like this one because its adjustable.

Thanks guys
Mark

If it's a daily driver, it won't be a good ride. You have more issues with rough roads and bad weather. You need to get camber adjusters to use your stock strut. So yes it will change your suspension geometry. If you want to improve your handeling, put a larger sway bar in with some poly eurothane bushings. But it's your call.

True. A stiffer sway bar might be an easier (and cheaper) thing to try. I could always do suspension later if it still needs it. I am kind of getting the idea that there are not many people who have lowered the 300C.

Thanks

It was set up for luxury, not sportyness.
