Transmissin Slip

I have a 2-3 second transmission slip off of full stop on hard acceleration, they tell me they are installing a new torque converter, already did the water in tranny tsb. Could the rest of the tranmission be damaged as well? Where is the Dispstick, why cant I inspect my transmission fluid color. 06 hemi 2wd.

dipstick will be clearly labled trans under hood, look closely , pull it out ,color should only be bright red. if brownish also it will smell burnt then you have problems, 06 too soon to be worn. sounds like its probally debri that got ito it at factory. make sure they give you a loner your fully covered fully. if it is the torque converter no it wont ruin rest of trans i bet its a piece of broken clutch disc or rubber seal blocking a hydro passage. just guessing either way they will have to take the whole trans to get at the torqe converter

Just a yellow plug. thats says "dealer only". I pulled it out no prob or seal. I asked the dealer he said they are they only ones that can check it and they use a tool for it. The tool turns out to be a dipstick that they said they cant order for me. I cant believe this crap i would like to see if my tranny is going south before the warranty is up. anybody have any ideas?

RE: Transmissin Slip/DIPSTICK

Got my new dipstick, turns out its a universal one that you put in till it hits the bottom of the pan the you can check the level.
Got a call from the dealer and they siad my tranmission slip has been elevated to the SECOND TEAR of chrysler engineering, has anyone heard of the second tear?

RE: Transmissin Slip/DIPSTICK

Second tear is refering to a higher level engineer, meaning the original people looking into the issue, could not find out what the problem was, so the second tear is brought in to take a look at the situation and hopefully solve the problem.
