Want to get an srt8
 

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong section or anything. About 4 months ago, I was thinking about a new car but I was thinking SUV or truck. Then i went to the philly auto show and saw the 300 srt8 up on a stand and my jaw hit the ground. I went home and researched them and found that there weren't many in my area so I just forgot about it for awhile. The about 2 months ago my local dealer got in a white one and so I immediately went up and took a test drive. If I thought the looks were impressive enough, the drive was even more so. it rode even nicer than the S I drove afterwards. However, I would like to wait until the end of the year to get anything because it isn't practical to get a new car right now because we just got one last summer and the price for the car, while fair, is high and if I could get any good deals I'd jump on them.

So here's my question: The car has been sitting on the lot for a couple months now. Will they discount it if it sits long enough? And will they do any year end deals on it? I wasn't sure because I didn't know if they did that on SRT products. Also the car had the safteytec and sunroof which I want both of but is there anything else I would want Ex. 19 speaker system leather package etc.

Has anyone had experience with buying a new SRT? How much did you have to haggle (if any) and if they came down in price, by how much?

I just bought one about 2 months ago and love it. Not much room on the price thou but I did get them to put in some DVD players in the Head Rest for Free. Told them that if they want the deal now put it in. It drives like a dream and Runs like a scolded Cat. Just waiting for an young Kid to try me and Its game over for him. Mine is black with all options except the Moon Roof. The black Chrome Rims are real nice with the black Grill.
