Default Warning light

Hello everyone, Im new here. I own a 2005 Chryler 300 It has 45,000 miles and the other day after leaving FSU vs UF game which sucked
my warning light swiched on the one that looks like a little transmission. I noticed momemts later that on of my fog lights was out. I dont
think its that, but could that be the reason for the light. If not does anyone have any ideas.......

I don't know of a transmission light on the 300. Are you sure it wasn't the 'engine' light? Yellow light, looks like the profile of an engine.

Our cars are about the same in year and milage. Myengine light just started to shine. Did you find any solution? My dealer talked more about extended warranties and $114 diagnostics than possible causes. I was told to drive it a couple of days and it may go out as he was tigntening my gas cap. Right now it still glows and makes me very uncomfortable. I would appreciate any help or advice from anyone with knowledge or experience with this situation. Everything works fine, but I just noticed that the temp guage was low (hovering just above the first hashmark). It was 4 above zero yesterday.

Don't misunderstand, the tsb's support what you have stated and a diagnostic is imminent. Thanks again!
