I want to change by myself the oil engine and filters on my Chrysler 300 C. Who can tell me what is the engine oil capacity on a Chrysler 300C from 2009 3.0 CRD ?

I bought this car from a person, is not new, and the owners has lost the car manual. Now i don't now how much liters of oil enter in his engine

 

call up local dealer and ask I know u can download owners manual here in US from Chrysler but UK ones I have no idea .

 

I try to call on a local dealer but they tell me that i most go with my car on them.

 

I found how much oil enter in my Chrysler 300C engine on Chrysler 300 C engine oil capacity in quarts i ask there if the info is correct and the admin told me after i change my engine oil and oil filter to check the dipstick and see if i most add some extra oil. I will try this, I will come back with an answer after I finish.

 

All done, i change my engine oil and filters by myself the capacity is approximately 8.3 l after i put the new filter and oil, after 15 minutes I added about 0.2 liters, oil dipstick now shows the maximum, I read somewhere that you must check and fill if necessary after driving 5000 km.

 

The 3.0L Diesel Engine requires 10 Quarts (9.5 Liters) of API Certified SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Engine Oil, meeting the requirements of Chrysler Material Standard MS-11106 or Mercedes Benz MB 229.51 and ACEA C3 qualified engine oils
(Mopar Part Number for 1 Liter is Part # 68001334AA).
