1st Major mod on Aspen : Intake/Exhaust

So I finally did my first major mod on my Aspen. Installed the AEM Brute Force CAI and Magnaflow Catback Exhaust. I've done so many mods on my Accord by myself (including this same setup) so I had no concerns on attempting this one as well. Although I did get a friend to assist me to make things easier.

Intake wise I only had one issue with the install. Instructions say to reuse the bolts from the radiator support to hold the heat shield, but they were too short to reuse. Luckily I was able to find something around the house to work.

Exhaust went on with no issues at all. Loved how I was able to remove old exhaust without having to jack up the truck. Since the OEM muffler and resonator were actually two individual pieces connected with clamps, I was able to remove without any issues. (My Ranger was all one piece and had to be jacked up WAY high to snake out over rear axle).

End result, a MEAN sounding HEMI. From ignition to revving to full out throttle on the open road. She was begging for this. I was worried about the sound when MDS kicked in since we all know how crappy 4 cylinders can sound with aftermarket exhaust. Surprisingly, it's really not that bad. In all I am very happy with results.

Before it's asked, I did try to capture before and after audio/video with my GoPro. Sadly, the SD card crashed and I was not able to do so. I did attempt to get video with my iPhone, but that doesn't really do it justice. So I will try to get some recordings again with the GoPro when I get new SD cards. Hopefully some clips recorded at the exhaust pipe while in motion and some cabin recordings as well.
