20 inch chrome clad wheel fit

Does anyone know if the 20" chrome clad wheel will fit in the spare tire location? I currently have 265/50/20 tires with the chrome wheels and a 265/60/18 tire with a standard black rim came from the factory as my spare. Despite the 20" to 18" discrepancy, all the tire sizing sites show the two are the same diameter with the same revs per mile. Anyway, I'm looking to replace my 20" tires soon and I'm entertaining the idea of getting a spare chrome clad wheel and mounting my best current tire as the spare and not use the 18" setup at all. Not sure if the 20" rim/tire will fit where the spare goes and if there will be TPMS issues - don't think so since the current 18" spare has no TPMS. Any thoughts?

You can just try one of you existing wheels. Based on theory, I see no reason why it wouldn't fit. The tires aren't taller or wider. There shouldn't be any clearance issues with the tire. The only potential problem could be the added weight. Possibly the cable couldn't handle the extra weight, and snap? That's a long shot, but the only thing I could think of. I wouldn't waste the $ on it. No one sees is under there, and you may never use it. Why waste a good spare?
