I just purchased my Aspen a week ago and had a couple of questions....Does anyone know if the passenger side airbag turns off if a child is in the front seat? My salesman said it does but the manual says nothing about it and there is no light or chime that says it'sactive or not. Second question, are there any after market products (muffler, air intake systems etc...) that will improve fuel economy?

look on your dash in the area of the center.When u start the truck up does a amber light show an child in a car seat or something like that aka a bulb check like the abs and airbag light on the cluster?? if so which i would say yes because it is almost in every 07 and up.Press on the seat with oo 30 to 50 lbs of pressure or have your child sit in the seat if it us under 96 lbs then the passanger side air bag light will turn on and disable that air bag. No light not disabled and active. PS
is it not law that a child is to be in the back seat untill 13 or 100 lbs ne way???
