2007 Aspen won’t start
Hi.
I was driving my Aspen parked it and went out to start it. The starter turns over and over but the truck never starts. I took a look at the fuses and everything looked good. I checked to see if there was any fuel in the lines near the intake by pressing the shrader valve but nothing came out. I then went under the rear of the truck to see if I could hear the fuel pump, no sound at all from the tank when the ignition is on.
Is there anything you can think of that I may have missed or is it most likely the fuel pump
Thanks

Locate the fuel pump relay in the under the hood fuse box. Turn the key on. Pull the relay and reinsert and see if you hear it clicking. If you don't, it is possible to have a bad relay or bad connection due to excessive dust on the contacts (I've had it happen before). If it does click when removing and reinserting, and you still don't hear the fuel pump running, it is possible to have a bad fuel pump. Or it could be some other electrical issue from the fuse box to the pump which would require more testing with a digital meter for power at the pump.
