2007 Chrysler Aspen driver side A/C problem
Hello to all, let me start off by sayin thanks for any help. Last week driving the aspen I realized I was getting extremly hot while my wife was nice and cool, I checked all the settings on the electronic controls. When I got home I checked the r134a and all the fuses (all were good). The passenger and the rear units work great but the driver blows scalding hot air around 85-90 degrees. Please help I am stumped.

Might be some type of blender door. I don't have a manual so I can't help much, but obviously your refrigerant is good as your wife is cool and you checked it. It has to be HVAC electronic related. Sorry I can't help much more as I have had my Aspen about 1 month. Hopefully someone else will chime in. You may also check out the Durango forums.

Yes, the driver's side blend door/actuator needs replacement. It's a big repair, as getting to the part requires removal of a good part of the dash and steering wheel.
