Default 2009 Aspen in “safe” mode

So my wife hit a pothole very hard and the entire vehicle shut down, and when trying to start the truck, when turning the ignition and letting go of it, the truck just cranks but doesn’t start. The impact happened on the passenger front tire, so there is a possibility of the starter being affected?! Please someone help with this situation and what can be done to remedy it without coming out of a lot of $$$$. Thanks and God Bless

Highly doubt it to be to the starter. The starter wouldn't of shut it down in the first place and it wouldn't crank if it was a starter issue. More than likely some harness has come loose. No telling exactly where though. Could be anywhere. I'm afraid the only way to find out what system is not functioning properly to know what is wrong would require a systems diagnostic check which means dealer.
