Default Adding Running Boards

I want to buy some OEM Mopar running boards for our Aspen. I was going to just buy them and get them installed by the dealer.

Anyone else have any recommendations? These are the ones I'm getting:

I haven't been very pleased with the running boards. Our 08 Aspen had them on when we bought it, but three months later the paint was flanking off of them. Took it to the dealer and they stated it was because of rocks (we do nothing but city driving) hitting the running boards and chipping the paint off.

My wife had the dealership manager come and look at them (because initially they were refusing to fix it) and asked how rocks caused the paint on top to chip off. They agreed to fix them, but told us that this would most likely happen again "due to rocks".

Rock chips are a fact of life, excessive rock chips are warranty.

We have had our 2007 Aspen for 20 months. The factory running boards are great. No chips of any kind. We did install the mud flaps and that probably helps.

I just installed the running boards tonight and they're great! They're not painted but they still look good.

I bought the OEM Mopar running boards from the Mopar site.

I put Westin chrome nerf bars on my Aspen. I love them and they were very easy to install. Took around an hour by myself. I think it looks so much better than boring old factory running boards. I think they were around $395 and free shipping. I ordered them from autoanything.com
