hey all:
new here, just purchased a 2007 aspen, thrilled with it, but,,,the airbag light keeps going on then off, some days I won;t see it at all then other it will be on constantly. the dealer I purchased it from has a 30 day they will fix it for free deal BUT I live about 700 miles from them. any ideas out there about the cause and cost of repair, would it be worth it to drive the 1400 miles to and from the dealer or just bite the bullet. Also on the same topic, is there a way to bypass the airbag light? I've driven without airbags for 20 years, so Im not all that concerned if htey don;t go off. .....lol

 

U know any dealer can fix this issue U are under a 3 year 36k warranty right?
The light could be coming for for any number of issues.
