Apen transmission cooler
 

Does anyone know if the 2007 4.7 V8 4WD Flexfuel Aspen comes equipped with a transmission cooler. Looks like it is and I had a car savvy guy tell me that there's lines coming off of something behind my grill that goes to the transmission.
Reason i'm asking is that I'm getting my Aspen prepped for towing my 27' camper.

I believe it depends on your options at time of build. I believe there is a gent on here that can get your specific build sheet if you post your VIN #. Otherwise, if you'll post a few pics of the lines and/or possibly of the coolers in front of the radiator and we may be able to tell you more..

Yeah, it's really going to depend on optional packages equipped on the truck. More importantly if it came equipped with the tow package. That's the one that would include the transmission cooler. Hit up user ChryslerCares with last 8 numbers of your VIN and he can provide you with a build sheet. This will give you MANY details about your vehicle. Including towing capacities. This is what you really need to be looking at. The 4.7 FF 4WD can tow between 5850 to 7350 max trailer weight depending on the axle ratio. Just so you know, a 3.55 axle ratio is max at 5850. The 3.92 axle is max at 7350.
