Crack in leather seats
 

Hi,
New here to the forum, and I have to say that my wife and I love our 2008 limited Aspen, right now my question is have any of you had a problem with the leather seats cracking right where it is stitched together? I just notice that mine is and it makes me very unhappy:(
I called my dealer and they are going to look at it tomorrow.
I will post comments after they look at it.

Welcome to the forum Ernie they should be covered under the warranty but you do have to take care of leather there are a lot cleaners for leather an treatments to keep them soft so the leather will not crack

Well, I took the Aspen in to the dealer on Friday, They inspected the seats and they are covered under the warranty, Its one of those 3 year 36,000 warranty items, They ordered new covers for them, I also had them look at the track under the drivers seat, It has been making a grinding noise lately when I move the seat forwards and backwards, It was bad also.
Then they looked at the auto up on the drivers side window because it doesn't always work but what do you know it worked every time for them.
WOW several problems all at once, I hope this isn't a sign of whats to come.:(

By the way thanks for the welcome xfire04, and what kind of leather cleaner / conditioner do you suggest to uses on my new seats when the come in.

Lexol or Megs makes a Conditioner/Cleaner all-in-one. The protectant you use for your dash will also work (assuming you don't use AmorAll). The leather is actually vinyl-coated. A damp cloth or Woolite 20:1 can be used for cleaning. A few links below:
