Engine valve chattering, oil light on
 

Hey guys,

I have an 08 Aspen thats starting acting up yesterday after running errands for about 2 hours. I notice what I think is engine valves chattering and engile oil light came on so I stopped for about 15-20. Started back up and still heard the chattering for a little but tried to drive and the noise dissapeared while driving up to 50-55mph. When the engine light first came on I did add a quart as it does get low every 3 months or so to bring it back up to acceptable levels. This was as soon as it came on and I experience these problems afterward.

any idea what this could be and a possible fix?
