front heated seats stopped working

Hi there first time posting but I've read almost all the posts and I just wound up buying a 2008 Aspen because of it. I was doing some cleaning and checking around the car when I realized the front heated seats stopped working. I looked in the owners manual for the fuse for that particular option and to no avail I didn't find it and the seats are no longer heated. If anyone has run into this problem let me know. Thank you.

Just wanted to give you guys an update and that is the problem with the heated seats was resolved and that was that the seats do not have fuses they have a module that is in the rear drivers side panel which should you loose use of the feature it is either you have to reset your vehicle by touching both negative and positive cables together off the battery for about 10 seconds or so and then reconnect or the module has broken. In my case the module was fine and all it needed was a reset.

Good to know. Thanks for following up on this so others who might have the same thing can try this.

This reset tip worked like a charm. Saved me a trip to dealer. Thank you very much!

I'm missing something, is the procedure to remove both cables and touch them together for 10 seconds?

I read something somewhere just to remove the positive cable. I did, and nothing cleared out... still have the trip ODO, all the stats on the OHC are still there, too.

I forgot to mention, both of my rear seat heaters are not working, but the front do.

50200 1.00 recalibrate heated seat module

The local Chrysler dealer charged me $100 to do that.

But my toasty buns were thankful nonetheless. Now I know for next time.

Touch both cables together for 10 seconds after disconnecting them from the battery?

Worked for me

Thanks for the tip...poor wife froze her buns off all last year. Disconnect and reconnect the battery fixed the heated seat issue. Chrysler wanted $98 to look at it and then who knows what they would have said was wrong.
