Default iPod Integration with Aspens

I recently bought my 2007 Aspen, which I love. My only complaint is that the factory radio that it came with didn’t include an auxiliary jack to attach an iPod. I have the six-cd changer with the Sirius satellite radio deck. I’ve seen the available 82209617AB Audio iPod Interface on the Mopar website, but there isn’t much detailed info included.

Has anyone purchased/installed this device for iPod integration? If so, how do you like it?

Thanks for the quick response. Can you provide more details about how it is installed andhow it operates with the factory unit? BTW, would it work with the six disc cd changer unit?

Thanks, I guess I'll have to be the guinea pig on this one. I'll report back and update everyone on the buying and installation of the Mopar iPod adaptor.

I would hold out and wait for a MyGig option instead.

I just had a U-connect installed in my Aspen and there wasn't a change to the rearview mirror. I had the navigation system in place already, so I'm wondering if that's why there was no mirror swap?
