Low tire pressure light

My 07 Aspens tire pressure warning light goes on periodically but tires have proper PSI! Im thinking bad sensor....?

There are a few things that could be going on:

1. If you recently put air in a low tire, it can take 10 minutes of driving around for the system to update and the warning light to go off;

2. If the light flashes for over a minute and then remain solid, that's a system fault (bad sensor).

3. If you have aftermarket wheels/tires that have different pressure requirements than stock, that would also explain the issue.

4. If the light comes on when you're first driving but goes off, the tires are heating up and the pressure is increasing enough for the light to go off. I assume you don't have the EVIC system with the pressure readout, so you probably can't see tire pressures while you're driving. Assuming this is the case, check your tire pressures first thing in the morning before driving and make sure they're to factory spec.
