Lugnut caps stripped

My tpms sensor symbol on my dash came on and I had to fill up my left front tire. The tire stayed good for a couple of days and it came on again so I took it to a tire shop and they couldn't get lugs off because they have a cap on them and they spin. I have to order new ones . What is the best way to get old ones off? I have had issues with these nuts on my charger and replaced with aftermarket ones.

Did you get the lug nuts off? If so how did you do it.

I got them off. I took a new slot screwdriver and chiselled them off and with a needlenose pliers. Then I put a socket on nut with breaker bar. I'm glad I was in my driveway.

Sounds like fun, thanks for letting me know. I've got the same design so will look at replacing them before they come apart. What did you replace them with?

I put a solid acorn style lug on from a company called topline. They use a spline style socket and can't be stripped.
