Transmission and Engine Coolant Changes

It is time for me to change my trans fluid and engine coolant.

Are there recommended fluids to replace what I in there from the factory?

Anti-freeze/coolant:
Do I have to get the "Mopar 5year/100,000mile HOAT" coolant?
If not, what is a recommended replacement?

Transmission Fluid:
This is even more critical since it is a partial change due to much fluid left in converter. It says use "ATF+4" will any brand ATF+4 be ok to mix with original?
ETA, Filter question: I bought a trans filter for this bout a year ago, been sitting in a humid garage, do they have a shelf life in these conditions? should I buy a new one to be safe?

Re: the transmission filter, you should be ok unless it has gotten wet or sat out in the sun. The filter itself shouldn't be an issue, but you'd want to make sure the gasket is in good shape.

The manual calls for HOAT coolant, and ATF+4 transmission fluid like you said. A quick Google search will tell you which brands you can substitute. Be careful with "all vehicle" transmission fluids that claim to meet a bunch of different standards. I've heard of people ruining transmissions with that stuff.
