Window will not go up - sometimes
I have a 2007 Aspen, every once in a while the driver side window will not go up. My wife rolls it down at a drive through etc. when she hits the switch to roll it up, nothing......
Eventually, sometimes after a try or two or sometimes after an hour or two, it will go up as normal. I assume this is the window switch? anyone else have this issue before? Thanks... |
Oh my -- more electrical gremlins. Will it go up if you hold the switch -- vs. tap it (auto-up)?

As kkreit01 suggests, is it possible that the window switch is in need of calibration? Like on my 300C, I occasionally have to depress the window switch and hold it for 3-5 seconds when the window is down then pull and hold the window switch up and hold it again for 3-5 sec when the window is in the up position. Hope it works for you.

I ordered a new swtich block, heck, only $31...
Anyone have a clue how to put it in? Does that fake wood piece over the switches just snap off like the other fake wood pieces? (over console etc). |
I got it figured out... replaced it, seems to have fixed our problem.

I had the same problem with the "65" Chrysler 300 convertible I had and it was due to loosing the ground connection. I finally fixed it by soldering a ground connection to the door inner panel. NO more problems!!!
I would give my right arm to have that vehicle back again, it was the meanest dog in town! I am sure it would eat these new 300's for breakfast!!! |
