2002 Chrysler 300m

2002 Chrysler 300m for sale as Project car or Parts car. Fully loaded. Non-running, requires tow. I've owned this car since 2006 and it has been meticulously maintained. It is structurally sound - has been regularly rust-proofed and has very little rust. Engine cut out recently and will not re-start. Here's the run-down:

·         Body in excellent condition with a few small rust spots: above the windshield and at rear fender quarter panel.

·         Custom welded stainless steel  exhaust system with dual chromed tips.

·         Original dual catalytic converters.

·         Aftermarket wheels (18x8, 35mm offset w/P245/45 ZR18 96Y, SL Continental Extreme Contact DWS) w/TPMS sensors only used in summer.

·         Original full-size chromed spare wheel (never used).

·         Windshield replaced a few years ago and looks like new.

·         Brakes excellent - recently replaced rotors & pads (3k front/8k rear). All brake hoses replaced (50k). Fluid flushed at all brake services.

·         Interior in excellent condition.

·         Radiator near-new (2k).

·         Belts and pulleys replaced (8k)

·         Stabilizer links and frame mounts replaced (25k).

·         Vapor canister replaced (25k).

·         HVAC runs fine but display turns off/on at times.

·         Transmission needs work - slips in reverse, and latches in 2nd gear when slowing down coming off the highway. Solenoid pack was replaced several years ago so could be bad pack or possibly overdrive sensor.

-         Engine timing belt loose so valves may be toast. Have not taken it apart so not sure what the issue is.

Is the Dash Pad cracked anywhere? They tend to split on the pass anger side?

Hi FIREM,

From what I can see the dashboard looks to be free of any cracks. I haven't gone over it with a fine-tooth comb but definitely there's nothing noticeable. I've used the spray-on plastic protectants over the years and have managed to keep the dash in good shape.
