04 Pacifica - front end shake & clicking

So, I had the tires rotated and balanced but it didn't seem to be the problem. I dont believe it needs an alignment (it doesn't pull one way or another). There just seems to be shaking on the front end (randomly), doesn't matter the speed or if im turning, accelerating. I'm thinking a CV joint. Ive noticed other people seem to he having the same problem but have't seen anyone say for sure what their problem turned out to be. Also, when im backing slowly in reverse while turning it makes a clicking noise, isn't that something that happens along with the shaking when it's a CV joint or something else?

HA - one another note, Ive noticed many people have the Chrylser squeek in the rear ends on their pacifica's but no one knows why.

Any ideas on any of this would be great!

I had the "clicking" in the front end when reversing out of the driveway and turning sharply. I replaced both axle shafts and the clicking is now gone. There are shims you need to replace on the face of the shaft that goes over the spline that fits through the hub assembly. Other than the shims it was just a standard axle replacement. Your local dealer should have these in stock. They were about a dollar a piece IIRC.
