05 pac tie rods
 

i'm in need of new tie rods, i keep replacing them yearly and they are all original mopar replacements

this time decided to order parts my self from rockauto, i'm also getting the right control arm as the bushing is loose (mopar contrl arm is $500, after market only $100)

i'd also be saving half on tie rods

please tell me are both left and right tie rods the same and i just need to order 2 outer tie rods and two inner of the same part?

i was going to go with acdelco

update: i want to actualy go with the RAYBESTOS tie rods, as the control rm is same brand and will save me 30 in total shipping

You most likely want the outer(s). Inners do fail but less so. So two outer, and they are unhanded. "Break" the jamb nut at the back of the tie rod before you separate it from the wheel knuckle. Then separate it, count the number of turns to pull it off. Spin the new one on the same number of turns, turn the jamb nut down to lock it. Then go get an alignment.

EDIT: re-read your post. If you are going to replace both inner and outer, then yes, two of each, again unhanded. You need an inner tie rod tool if you are going to do the inners. Probably can get it on loan from Autozone or similar.

You are right, only need outer, the other Item needed is both stabilizer links and right control arms, left one is okay for now as it was allready replaced by feelers back when I had warranty

Awaiting parts, going to my mechanic, just going to save a ton in parts here in canada
