05 pacifica headlight problem

My 05 pacifica driver side low beam is out. I researched this problem and seems to be a common issue with this model. I have minimually pulled it apart and found that both high beams and the passenger low beam are recieving 12v under load but the driver side low beam is recieving only 4v. Any suggestions? Has anyone fixed this problem by themselves? I am planing on tracing the (4v) wires back to a common connection to look for a bad splice. I would think it's a bad ground but that would mean all the lights would be recieving low voltage.

Thanks in advance for your help

TIPM is more then likely the issue. a bad splice will not drop the voltage it will still be 12v no matter how many wires are broken in the strain U will loose amps with less wires in the strain. Bad ground would send the voltage else where to ground and the bulb would be dim.

First, thanks for your help.
Would I need to replace the whole TIPM or the relay associated with that lamp?
