06 Pacifica VIN # Problem

Recently bought a 06 from a reputable dealer in the MPLS./ST.PAUL area. It would appear that the VIN # *2A4GM684X6R###### *( I added the# for numbers) Is in fact a CHRYSLER TOWN and COUNTRY . I just brought the PACIFICA in to fix a small problem and they discovered the error. WHAT are my options. If I get pulled over for a valentine ,officer friendly will figure out real quick the PACIFICA is not a T/C. Then perhaps make the assumption I have altered the vehicle. Both the door and dash board carry the same number. THANKS[:o]

Sounds like it is time to call the local police. If you do not report the suspected problem and the car is stolen then you maybe in hot water legally. You may want to ask a lawyer too.

where are u getting the info that the vin is for a t/c and not for that car u have??
did u check on the door plackerd it has it there as well and FYI the PAC is built off the mini van frame os it will have some part of the mini van vin.
