07 Pacifica Limited or Touring

My wife and I are starting to look at 07 Pacificas and were wondering if there is anything we should be looking for or any issues with this year? Thanks for your help.

Transmission torque converter shudder was an issue with the 6 speed auto & 4.0L engine. It would vibrate or shudder while shifting or just cruising. Not all had it. I have an '07 that I bought new and haven't had any issues yet, over 26,000 on the odometer.

Do you happen to know if this occured more with the AWD vs. FWD? Or is there no relation between the convertor and which drive system it has.

I don't know the answer but would guess that it doesn't matter. I would expect that all the 6 spd trannys use the same torque converter. This is a question for Chrysler Tech.

I'm just one owner of the '07 version ....... but I'd suggest looking at other makers. The tranny issues and the fact the Pacifica rides like a buckboard wagon are just a couple reasons.

I have an 08 with 14,000 miles. Flawless so far, tranny or otherwise and no issues at all with the ride. One of the best highway cruisers I've ever had and considering it's size and weight very easy around town also.

We own a '07 Limited AWD version with ~44k miles. Overall very pleased, but have had some smaller issues - oil leak (fixed under warranty), DVD player had issues (and seems to be starting again - now out of warranty), Reverse ParkSense Assist is nice (when it works - currently not working correctly, but now debating whether it is worth getting fixed since we are out of warranty). To me these have all been relatively small issues, and we are overall pleased. AWD is very nice in the winter snow (like we are having now) - gives the wife a better comfort level. Other nive features include the Uconnect, Navigation, Rear Entertainement (DVD), Rear heated seats (daughters appreciate this), 3rd row seating, ...
