2004 Pacifica heater/vent issue

I have heat going from all vents. When I change to just defrost or any others it only does all vents. Gettin cold here and will need just defrost..... HELP

i had the same problem, swap out the thermostat unit behind the glove compartment, it took 10 minutes and problem solved
